Manual Therapy

Manual therapy consists of a variety of joint and soft tissue techniques directed to normalize movement patterns. This hands-on approach maximizes the effects of your treatments. Therefore, you will return to normal functionality faster.  We take the extra step for you by personalizing a home exercise plan which will help in your recovery. We also believe in educating you throughout your treatment to help you change habits in order to minimize the chance for reoccurrence.

ITP strives to keep up with the current research giving our clinicians the ability to provide you with the most current and effective treatments appropriate for your condition. During your initial evaluation, your therapist will develop a personalized plan of care to optimize a quick recovery. We will take time to make sure you fully understand your condition and course of treatment.

Vestibular Therapy

The ability to maintain our body in a balanced position depends on the ability of the brain to integrate sensory input from the inner ear, eyes, joint, muscle, and skin sensors, and the circulatory system. If this sensory integration occurs normally, your body will be able to move in an efficient and safe manner. However, if there is abnormal sensory input to the brain, a variety of symptoms can occur.

Exercise Therapy

Most of us recognize we need a certain physical capacity to participate in activities of daily living and extra-curricular activities. In order to navigate successfully through the different decades of our lives, we need to make sure our body is up to the task. The most important part of ensuring successful participation is having adequate cardio vascular functioning. At Integrated Therapy, we have embraced the fact our bodies need to be trained sufficiently to prevent injury, or if an injury were to occur, be able to fully recover.

In order to help you achieve the sufficiency necessary, exercise will be part of each treatment at Integrated Therapy. Additionally, our staff will work with you personally on exercises and will design a custom exercise program which should give you a path to lifelong physical health.

Diagnostic

musculoskeletal

Ultrasound

Ultrasound imaging uses sound waves to produce pictures of muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints throughout the body. It is used to help diagnose sprains, strains, tears and other soft tissue conditions. Ultrasound is safe, noninvasive and does not use ionizing radiation. This allows our clinical team to make a precise diagnosis based on real time assessment and suggest an optimal treatment plan.
This procedure requires little to no special preparation.

Pranayama or Yogic

Breathing

Yogic Breathing is one of the 8 steps yoga and it involves the voluntary control of breath and is something that ANYONE can do.

YOGA is the ancient science of multidimensional healing and dates back to 3000 BC, originating in India. YOGA aims to achieve BALANCE between the physical body and the mind with the help of spinal alignment and gentle stretching with breath control to bring internal harmony and homeostasis.
